VPAT-style Accessibility Conformance Statement — WCAG 2.1 Level AA

Unstoppable Families Foundation is committed to making this website accessible and usable for visitors with disabilities. Accessibility is central to our mission and reflects our commitment to dignity, access, and inclusion.

This statement describes the current accessibility status of the Unstoppable Families Foundation website, including the public website pages, Coming Soon experience, legal pages, program pages, resource pages, Contact Form 7 forms, and theme-provided accessibility tools.

Our Commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We understand accessibility as an ongoing process, not a one-time launch task. As the site grows, pages, forms, program content, resources, and third-party integrations will continue to be reviewed and improved.

Current Site Scope

This statement applies to the current WordPress website and theme, including the Home, About, Our Story, Framework, Strategic Map, Programs, Join Our Community, Thriving Parents Scholarship, Find Your Voice, Resources, Impact, Contact, Accessibility, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Disclaimer pages. Third-party tools, embedded forms, plugins, external application platforms, and linked websites may have their own accessibility behavior and are outside our full control.

Known Limitations & Remediation Plan

The following items reflect the current WordPress site and areas we are still improving as the Foundation prepares for launch.

L11.3.5 Identify Input PurposeMinor

Issue

Some Contact Form 7 or future application fields may not yet include complete autocomplete tokens for every input purpose.

Remediation

As final forms are selected and launched, we will review each field and add or configure appropriate autocomplete attributes where supported.

L24.1.3 Status MessagesModerate

Issue

Some form success, error, or plugin-generated messages may not always be announced automatically by screen readers.

Remediation

We will continue testing form plugins and theme status messages and add aria-live support where needed.

L3Third-party toolsOngoing

Issue

External application platforms, plugins, embedded tools, or linked resources may have accessibility limitations outside our direct theme control.

Remediation

We will choose accessible tools whenever possible and provide alternate contact options when a visitor experiences a barrier.

Measures We Have Taken

  • Semantic WordPress theme structure for public pages
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation, tabs, details panels, buttons, and links
  • Responsive layouts for mobile, tablet, and desktop
  • High-contrast navy, gold, cream, and white color system
  • Visible labels and instructions on forms where possible
  • Contact Form 7 styling for readability, spacing, and focus
  • Alternative text support through the WordPress media library
  • Public Accessibility, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Disclaimer pages available during Coming Soon mode
  • Bottom-right accessibility tools panel for text size, contrast, link highlighting, line height, and motion reduction

Accessibility Tools on This Site

This website includes a lightweight accessibility tools panel in the bottom-right corner of the page. Current tools may include options to increase text size, increase contrast, highlight links, increase line height, and reduce motion. These tools are provided as an additional convenience and do not replace our responsibility to build accessible pages from the start.

Ongoing Accessibility Work

Accessibility will continue to be reviewed as the full site launches, as new programs are added, and as forms or application platforms change. We expect to update this statement as the website matures.

Please Contact Us

If you experience an accessibility barrier, need information in an alternative format, or have suggestions for improving this website, please contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to respond and provide assistance.
